城东社区是龙门县龙城街道辖下的社区，前身为永汉镇区公所，2002年6月自永汉镇街道居委会划出而成立[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

这个居委会的源头是永汉镇区公所，1966年4月它改组为永汉镇革命委员会，1991年8月再改名永汉镇街道居民委员会。城区扩大后，2002年6月以增龙路为界一分为二，城东社区居委会是其中之一。[1]

荣誉[edit]

城东社区在2022年1月获评「惠州市2021年度绿色社区」；2022年8月，成为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
