中洞村位于广东省惠州市惠东县的高潭镇境内，是镇辖行政村，地处海丰、陆丰、惠东、紫金、五华五县交界一带，因1927年东江特委和红二师曾驻于此，被称为“东江红都”。[1][2]

村域面积22.07平方千米，户籍人口约890人，通用客家话。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄位于西面群山环抱的狭长盆地，远望如山洞，聚落在盆地中央，故名中洞。[1] 1949年设行政村，1951年并入公梅，1958年为公梅大队的一部分，1977年才从公梅分出，称中洞大队。[1] 1987年3月改设村委，1989年称管理区，1998年改称中洞村委会。[1]

革命历史[edit]

村四周山高路险，有寨头坳、麻角嶂等天然关隘。1923年村里成立农会，入会农户110户，另组自卫队115人；到1925年有2个党支部、22名党员和15名团员。[3] 1927年5月，东江第一次武装起义结束，海陆惠紫四县的工农武装撤出县城，集中到中洞；中共东江特委从海丰转入，东江革命委员会稍后也迁来。10月中旬，南昌起义的余部一千多人到达，在此编成中国工农革命军第二师，后来简称红二师，师长董朗，党代表颜昌颐，参谋长王备。[4]

1928年3月起，国民党军队进犯，百庆楼被焚。据博雅地名网转录的村情，1928至1933年间中洞有700多人被杀，绝户160多户。1929年9月红军第四十九团成立，红军独立第二师则在1931年5月于中洞组建。[3][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

百庆楼在白洋湖，是东江特委、东江革命委员会、红二师师部的旧址，2004年公布为惠东县文物保护单位，2010年公布为广东省文物保护单位；2002年冬由惠州市、惠东县政府按原貌在原址修复，辟为展览。[4] 楼附近有红军兵工厂、被服厂、医院、俱乐部、印刷厂等旧址，2002年一并修复，另有红军井、炮台、瞭望哨和重修的革命烈士纪念碑。[3][5] 中洞革命旧址现为惠州市中共党史教育基地和爱国主义教育基地。[5]

经济[edit]

据百度百科，村内有民宿和农家乐各6家，蜂蜜、茶叶等农产品年产值超过200万元，当地并有抽水蓄能电站在建设。[2] 2019年12月入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单，2023年11月入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」。[1][2]
