地名由来[edit]
据说解放前全村路面都是黄泥，村名原为黄泥排，村民嫌不雅，改叫黄排。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年冬，黄排归高河乡管。1953年重划小乡，黄排与青龙潭一起组成青云乡；1956年另办了光明大道高级社。到1958年9月，黄排属平山公社，翌年成黄排大队；1975年11月起属平山镇，1983年为管理区。之后：村委（1987年3月，依惠东府函〔1987〕17号）、街道（1993年2月）、居委（1996年9月）、社区（2002年）。2020年11月，惠东府函〔2020〕600号文批准从黄排划出福田、百丘田两个社区。[1]
社区荣誉[edit]
2022年9月，黄排社区被评为「惠州市2022年度绿色社区」。[1]
