平安社区属博罗县柏塘镇，位于原平安镇的中心，社区名即由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年以前，这里是平安公社的平安大队。1980年以后改由社区管理，成了平安镇的平安社区；1989年设居民委员会，名称由柏塘镇申请、博罗县人民政府批准；2003年平安镇并入柏塘镇，平安社区也随之划入。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位中，有该地在列。[1]
