横茜村是博罗县麻陂镇下辖的行政村，由横岭村和茜塘村合并而成，各取原名的第一个字，故称横茜。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地清代归苏州巡司署管；民国时属第七区甲乡，由博罗县石坝区管辖；建国后并入第三区麻陂乡，1955年一度属杨村公社，1959年改为麻陂公社的横茜大队；1983年设横茜乡，1986年改称管理区，1990年设立横茜村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，横茜村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
