曲潭村是博罗县麻陂镇下辖的行政村。据博雅地名网，清初温氏宗族迁居于此；附近罗坑径水库一带的河道九曲十三弯，初名曲潭埔，又称草埔潭，后来通行的名称简作曲潭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地清代归苏州巡司署管，民国时由博罗县第七区甲乡管辖；建国后先属第三区麻陂乡，1952年划入博罗县第一区麻陂区，1958年改称麻陂乡；1990年设立曲潭村民委员会。[1]
