历史沿革[edit]

程村原为1958年成立的程村生产大队，1987年改设管理区。1998年依省里理顺农村基层管理体制的通知，撤销管理区，改设程村村民委员会。村名因以姓氏建村而来。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村域面积13.8平方公里，耕地2356亩，总人口3028人。[1]

经济[edit]

村内主要种植兰花和室内绿色植物，供应广州市场；村中也有稻田与鱼塘。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2014年7月，程村村被农业部认定为「第四批全国一村一品示范村镇」（兰花）；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，同年12月入选「第二批国家森林乡村」；2020年8月入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」（兰花）；2021年9月被认定为「第二批全国乡村治理示范村」；2024年4月入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
