博雅地名网载，村内有861户农户、3291人（该页未注明年份），划为9个村小组。[1] 地貌为丘陵低山，该页称这里气温年均22.1℃、雨量年均1239.1毫米；耕地1195亩，另有山地5241亩；农户收入主要来自柑橘、水稻和蔬菜。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自旧日集市：1998年由县政府批准设立，因所在之地从前是乡村圩市而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

行政建置依次为：属九市人民公社（1958年），称旧圩管理区大队，旧圩管理区（1988年），九市镇旧圩村民委员会（1998年）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
