历史沿革[edit]

1958年建生产大队时，把原有的新爱、新发两个大村并成一个，取名新合。[1]新中国成立初属洛阳乡；之后的名称是新合大队（1961年）、新合乡（1983年）、村民委员会（1986年）、管理区（1989年），1998年起复称村民委员会。[1]2023年4月，名列「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建名单。[1]

经济[edit]

386户、1636人；水田989亩，水果890亩；作物有沙糖桔、贡柑和桂皮。[1]
