新合村在龙岗镇南部，辖3个村民小组，登记225户、972人，土地面积5.16平方公里，耕地500亩。^[1]主要作物为沙田柚，特色收入有稀土矿。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村由十几个自然村合成，因而取名新合。^[2]新合最早归龙岗乡管，后划入松江大队（1963年）；单独成乡是在1983年12月，1987年称管理区，1999年5月撤管理区、设村委会。^[2]2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单收有此村。^[1]
