历史沿革[edit]

村名取自大跃进时期的高产，意为「明星」。解放后先设明星生产大队，随后称明星村管理区，1998年起为明星村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

距武垄圩镇约3公里，种植贡柑、沙糖桔、玉桂和水稻。[1] 2026年1月，村被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
