播荫村是武垄镇中部的行政村，面积约10平方千米，是全镇面积最小的行政村，下辖1个村民小组，博雅地名网记载总人口640人（未注明年份）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村委会驻播荫村，村名由此而来，德庆县人民政府批准其于1998年设立。建国初期设播荫乡，1958年成播荫大队，1986年改作播荫管理区，1998年起称播荫村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
离武垄圩镇约2公里，旧321国道穿过村境。村里规模养殖山地鸡，种蔬菜、贡柑、沙糖桔和水稻。[1]
