双象村是武垄镇东部的行政村，面积约11平方千米，下辖2个村民小组，博雅地名网记载总人口956人（未注明年份）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村委会驻双象村，村名由此而来，德庆县人民政府批准其于1999年设立。新中国成立前后属东河乡，1953年划入第四区云楼小乡，1957年划归武垄大乡，1958年并入东风人民公社，1961年编为双象大队，1983年设双象乡政府，1989年称双象管理区，1999年改为双象村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村离武垄圩镇约4.5公里，山林资源多，出产木材，种贡柑、沙糖桔和水稻。[1] 2019年12月入选第一批国家森林乡村；2019年9月和2020年12月两次上榜广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2024年4月又进入广东省首批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[1]
