历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历与镇名相同：村民在山形似盘龙之处建村，称武龙村，后写作武垄。[1] 1951年至1985年称红光大队，1985年起为武垄管理区，1998年改为武垄村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村离武垄圩镇1.5公里，主要经济活动有蔬菜种植、山地鸡养殖，并种有贡柑、沙糖桔和水稻。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
武垄村于2019年6月进入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1] 据百度百科，村内保存明清古建筑，有9座镬耳屋和1座苏式会堂，格局形成于明末清初，村中人口约800人，以陈、梁二姓为主；该页称村史可追溯到《德庆州志》所载的光绪年间。[2] 2010年，《热带地理》刊有一篇以武垄村为例的村庄规划论文。[3]
