莫屋村是怀集县大岗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东南部，距镇中心约3公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1955年成立莫屋高级社，1958年改设莫屋大队，1983年改乡，1989年称管理区，1998年设村民委员会。居民多姓莫，村名由此而来。[1]

地理环境[edit]

总面积5.57平方公里，耕地1596亩、山地7272亩，设4个村民小组，山塘水库和旱地较多。[1]

人口民族[edit]

经济[edit]

村内建有木桥水库综合养殖场。2019年9月，莫屋村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
