石群村是怀集县大岗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇南部，距镇中心约7公里，是全镇较偏远的村之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，清初这里分属乌石、集群两村；1958年设石群大队，1989年称管理区；1998年11月，县政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文批准设立村民委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
总面积9.13平方公里，耕地913亩、山地6805亩，设11个村民小组。境内有花岗岩石材，矿产以钨为主，另有少量金、铋、水晶。[1]
