石田村是怀集县大岗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西北部，距镇中心约6公里，与梁村镇交界。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，清初已有石田村；1955年成立石田高级社，1958年改设石田大队，1983年改乡，1989年称管理区，1998年设村民委员会。村名的由来是村里田地多石。[1][2]

总面积3.94平方公里，耕地2156亩、山地1500亩，设6个村民小组。[1]

人口民族[edit]

经济[edit]

水利设施完善，是大岗镇主要产粮区之一，果蔗种植有传统。2009年响应县委号召，规划建设面积1500亩的珠三角安全食品生产基地。2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
