显茅村是肇庆市高要区金利镇西部的行政村，离镇城区约2公里，面积约3.54平方千米，下辖14个村民小组，博雅地名网载总人口2168人。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村名取自所辖两个自然村显学、茅湾，各取头一字合成。[1]
经济[edit]
村里承接珠三角的农业转移、引进外来投资，发展鱼类养殖和花卉、蔬菜种植，改变了过去单一种稻的局面。[1]
沿革[edit]
1952年设显茅乡；1955年分显学、茅湾二社；1958年合为显茅大队，归金星公社，次年属金利公社。1968年同小塱队合为胜利大队，1972年分开。[1]
1983年与南北明大队合并成显茅乡，1987年改村委会，1989年称管理区。1995年管理区再析出北门管理区，1998年定名显茅村民委员会。[1][2]
