南围村位于肇庆市高要区金利镇南部，南面与高明区接壤，三面环山，离镇城区约8公里，面积约8.25平方千米，下辖8个村民小组，博雅地名网载总人口1640人。[1]
经济[edit]
镇级公路可达镇城区和各行政村，并直通高明，距高明区城区约15公里。村组集体办有三个轮窑砖厂，增加了集体收入；农业种植优质稻、蔬菜，淡水养殖以罗氏虾、四大家鱼为主。[1]
2019年9月，南围村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
沿革[edit]
新中国成立前属高要十区。1952年设南围乡，1958年改南围大队，归金星公社，次年属金利公社。1976年同蟠龙大队并为上南围大队。[1]
1983年拆为蟠龙、上南围二乡，1987年又合设上南围村委会，1988年再分出南围、蟠龙两个村委会。1989年南围称管理区，1998年定名南围村民委员会。[1]
