三冈古社[edit]
古社坐东北向西南，占地约110平方米，砖石结构，形如太师椅，由台基、平台和拜台三部分组成。台阶两侧的垂带踏跺刻有鲤鱼跳龙门图案，拜台正面刻八仙过海人物；后墙正中嵌花岗岩石板，阳刻“三冈古社”四字，墙顶中间雕火珠，两端雕鳌鱼。[2]
古社保存较好，是当地人祭拜之处。[2]
经济与荣誉[edit]
农业有剑花、香瓜、优质稻和蔬菜，养殖罗氏虾、四大家鱼；工业以弹子铰、五金配件为主。[1]
2026年1月，三要村获评广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。2019年9月，三要村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
沿革[edit]
新中国成立前隶高要县十区的清平乡。1952年，要古、罗客、竹洞三村联合设古竹乡；1958年要古自立大队，归金星公社，次年属金利公社。1968年三队复并为古竹大队，1974年又拆为三个大队。[1]
1983年再合为古竹乡，1987年撤乡，分设三要、罗客、竹洞村委会；1989年三要称管理区，1998年定名三要村民委员会。[1]
