金三社区位于肇庆市高要区金利镇城区边缘，原为金三村委会，面积约4平方千米，辖12个村民小组，博雅地名网载总人口3233人。[1]
经济[edit]
社区紧靠镇城区，广肇高速公路出入口距社区0.8公里，村中有十字涌公路通往高明。农业有剑花、名贵花卉、优质稻和蔬菜，水产养殖罗氏虾、四大家鱼；工业以弹子铰、弹簧等五金为主，村里还办有名贵花卉场，增加集体收入。[1]
沿革[edit]
1952年金利三乡（辖五甲、六甲）划入高要十区，后属十一区；1955年两村分为第五社、第六社；1958年改称金利三大队，归入金星公社。1998年定名金三社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
