金一社区位于肇庆市高要区金利镇东部，东临西江，隔江与佛山市三水区、南海区相望。原为金一村委会，面积约3.35平方千米，辖7个村民小组，博雅地名网载总人口1151人。[1]

经济[edit]

博雅地名网称，金一是金利镇办工业起步最早、发展最快的村之一，人均收入居全镇首位。以五金为主业，主要产品有地弹簧、闭门器和弹子铰，据称远销美国、日本、东南亚及港澳台地区；农业有剑花、优质稻种植和四大家鱼养殖。[1]

社区距镇城区和广肇高速出入口约1公里，金安堤围公路从旁经过。[1]

沿革[edit]

1952年划归高要十区（后属十一区），称金利一乡，辖一甲、二甲两村。1955年两村各成一社，1956年定名金永社、金远社。[1]

1958年改为金利一大队，归金星公社，次年转属金利公社。1968年起与金利二、三队同编为永忠大队，1971年复各自成队。1983年大队改乡，1987年改为村委会，1989年称管理区。[1]
