历史沿革[edit]

竹围乡立于1953年，隶高要六区，1958年为竹围大队。1983年与新塘大队合为竹围乡，1987年又拆为竹围、新塘两个村委会，1998年起称竹围村民委员会。[1][2]

经济[edit]

集体收入主要是出租商铺；种养为水稻、花生和鱼塘。[1]
