白诸镇是广东省肇庆市高要区西南部的一个镇，东邻新桥镇和南岸街道，南面隔新兴江与活道镇相望，西接云浮市云城区，北与大湾镇交界，镇政府距肇庆市区18千米[1][2]。镇域面积127.49平方千米，截至2021年10月辖2个社区、21个行政村，镇政府设在府前路1号[1]。1987年1月，白诸区改为白诸镇[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

明代，这一带属高要县云盖乡白诸都；清末划作二班四区[2]。民国二十六年（1937年）5月，归属二区；民国三十二年（1943年）10月，并成三堡乡和广华乡[2]。

新中国成立后的沿革如下[2]：

  • 1953年：分属四区的9个乡；
  • 1958年10月，辖区归新桥公社；1960年年底另立白诸公社，不久并回新桥公社[2]；
  • 1961年9月12日：白诸公社再次分立[2]；
  • 1983年7月，公社改称区；1987年1月，撤区建镇，定名白诸镇[1][2]。

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网记有两种说法。一说「白诸」本是壮语，「白」指石山，「诸」表示多，意思是圩场建在多石的山地上；另一说是圩镇附近有座高61米的山岗，岗上有一块形如猪的大石，旧时乡民求雨，要用白泥涂在石上，山岗因此叫白猪岗，后来「猪」改写成「诸」[2]。

地理环境[edit]

百度百科记镇域面积为127.49平方千米，属亚热带季风气候[1]。博雅地名网转述的镇情介绍称，全镇有耕地约2.7万亩、山地约10万亩；324国道和三茂铁路横贯全镇，分别长12千米和9千米；杨梅水库常年水位在22米以上，水面300亩以上[3]。

人口[edit]

百度百科记载，截至2019年末，全镇户籍人口42580人[1]。第七次全国人口普查（2021年6月公布）的结果为3.07万人，在高要区各街道乡镇中排第8位[2]。

经济[edit]

据百度百科，2019年全镇共有工业企业79个（规模以上11个），另有营业面积超过50平方米的综合商店或超市22个[1]。镇情介绍说，云龙山脉一带蕴藏有约1.5亿立方米的花岗岩，北凤、东村、石下一带有逾1亿吨的高岭土（当地称「白泥」），还有轻木资源[3]。同一介绍给出的1999年数字是：国内生产总值5.3亿元，工农业总产值4.9亿元，财政收入586万元，个体私营经济561户[3]。

2026年3月，白诸镇被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

反霸英雄纪念碑在白诸镇157乡道上孔至杨梅水库一段的山腰上，碑高三米多，周围是一座墓园，博雅地名网说它是镇里开展爱国主义教育的场所[2]。
