银江社区是新桥镇辖下的社区，由原银江村委会改设，2013年成立社区居民委员会。[1]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网转载的介绍，银江村委会辖8条自然村、16个村民小组，常住人口2998人，党支部有党员64人，年经济收入10万元左右；2005至2008年间建成生态文明村3条、卫生村1条。[1] 明代这一带属银江都，民国三十二年（1943年）曾设银江乡。[2][1] 2019年9月，社区列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
