绿湖村是广东省茂名市信宜市贵子镇所辖的行政村，位于镇的西部[1]。村情介绍称其辖8个村民小组，全村总面积11.7平方千米，耕地2325亩，主要经济作物为木薯、三华李、大玉姜[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：车田垌原是贵子和村中的一个浅水湖，四周竹林茂密，树木成片翠绿，因而叫绿湖。[1]

民国时期归贵子乡第六堡，解放初期叫第六村。1958年成立贵子公社下的绿湖大队，1962年一分为大坑、大圳两队，1965年再次合并，仍叫绿湖大队。1983年建乡，随后几经易名：1987年成为村民委员会，1989年为管理区办事处，1999年重新定名绿湖村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

绿湖村地形为低丘陵，气候属南亚热带季风类型，年均气温约20至21度，年降雨量约2100毫米[1]。村内在册813户，人口3789人[1]。耕地2325亩，经济作物以木薯、三华李、大玉姜为主[1]。

村情介绍称，全村有1350人外出务工，种植经济作物2500多亩，有养猪专业户5户、养鸡专业户10户。[2]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
