历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：村子位于石子岗南麓，因此得名。[1]
解放初期是第十三村，1952年土地改革时设石子乡，1958年公社化后成为贵子公社下的石子生产队。1983年建乡，随后几经易名：1987年成为村民委员会，1989年为管理区办事处，1999年重新定名石子村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
石子村地形为低丘陵，气候属南亚热带季风类型，年均气温约20至21度，年降雨量约2100毫米[1]。村内在册635户，人口3340人[1]。耕地1948亩，经济作物以木薯、三华李、大玉姜为主[1]。
村情介绍称，全村有1230人外出务工，种植经济作物1600多亩，有养鸡专业户5户。[2]
