据博雅地名网，村辖20个村民小组，在册780户、约5163人，土地面积9.13平方千米，耕地5629.5亩（该站未注明统计年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年化县八区所辖的乡里已有东京塘乡。本村在1964年划入中垌，当时叫东京塘大队，之后1983年改设乡，1987年改称村民委员会，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年又改回村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

据该站，村里主要经济作物为水稻、花生、蔬菜，特色收入来自养猪、龙眼、荔枝；上一年（未注明年份）农村经济总收入2560万元。[1]

村里引进外资办了一家木业切片厂，山地种有龙眼、荔枝约1000亩。[1]

文化[edit]

荣誉方面：该村获得2021年广东省卫生村称号，由广东省爱卫会于2021年12月授予；该村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，名单公布于2019年9月。[1]
