历史沿革[edit]
1932年设乡时已有孔化乡（见中垌镇的历史沿革）。本村民国时期属高州石龙；1949年后称孔化乡，1958年公社化后称孔化大队，1983年设孔化乡，1987年称孔化村委会，1989年成立管理区办事处，1999年改称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
据该站，村里主要经济作物为水稻、花生、蔬菜、蚕桑，特色收入来自淡水养殖、蚕桑；上一年（未注明年份）农村经济总收入1720万元。[1]
村内引进工业企业2家，海螺水泥企业的专家生活区也在其辖区内。[1]
