1958年人民公社化时设增村大队。此后名称依次是：增村乡（1983年）、增村村民委员会（1987年）、管理区办事处（1989年），1999年起又称村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村委会自述（未注年份）：全村面积3平方公里，耕地约1750亩，主要经济作物为水稻、蚕桑，上一年农村经济总收入975万元。[1]
