历史沿革[edit]
沙垌、高车、长岭三处在1958年合编为宝树大队，三年后沙垌分出自立大队。此后名称依次是：沙垌乡（1983年）、沙垌村民委员会（1987年）、管理区办事处（1989年），1999年起又称村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村委会自述（未注年份）：全村面积2.1平方公里，耕地约480亩，主要经济作物为蚕桑，上一年农村经济总收入450万元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年4月，进入广东省首批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单；2019年12月，入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单。[1]
