据博雅地名网所载沿革，该村1961年起称大岭大队，1983年设大岭乡，1986年又称大岭农村管理区，至1999年组建村民委员会，名称延用到现在。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，在广东省第二批“百千万工程”中被评为典型村；2019年10月进入广东省卫生村名录；被列为广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）的创建对象（2019年9月公布）。[1]
