新圳村在茂名市高州市的镇江镇境内，是该镇的一个村民委员会。村名中的“圳”是方言里的水沟，据说建村时挖了一条很深的水沟，因而得名。[1]

据博雅地名网所载沿革，该村1961年起称新圳大队，1983年设新圳乡，1986年又称新圳农村管理区，至1999年组建村民委员会，名称延用到现在。[1]
荣誉[edit]
被列为广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）的创建对象（2019年9月公布）。[1]
