覃巴村是吴川市覃巴镇镇中心所在的村委会，在吴川市区东约9公里的325国道旁，是覃巴圩所在地。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
覃巴村在1958年是覃巴大队，后来改称管区，1998年成为村委会，现在分覃巴、覃华仔、文埇三个村民小组，三组都被评为吴川市文明村。[2]
经济与设施[edit]
村里总人口2054人，工商业为主，农业居次，共有工业企业17个。[1]覃巴圩上店铺林立，有农贸市场和工业品市场，还有电器厂、酒厂、手套厂；学校和医疗机构有覃巴中心小学、覃巴中学、卫生院，圩上另建了文化广场和灯光篮球场。[1]
荣誉[edit]
覃巴村在2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」，名列「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」（2021年1月公布），并在2019年9月被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[2]
