六鳌村是吴川市覃巴镇的一个村委会，在吴川市区东南约12公里处，南濒南海，东与王村港镇相邻，辖大塘、覃林、覃角塘、覃剂、新村仔、袁屋、杨梅、覃柏、坡塘、调匀、留雄、六鳌、调德仔、调德共14条自然村。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

六鳌1950年属吉兆行政村，1952年另立六鳌行政村，之后是小乡（1957年）、大队（1958年）；1961年并入吉兆公社，1964年重新成为六鳌大队。1978年六鳌与调得分设两个大队，1983年称管区，1998年起为六鳌村委会，沿用至今。^[2]

全村8252人，半渔半农。14条自然村里，9条被评为吴川市文明村，7条属革命老区村，留雄村还是抗日战争时期的根据地。^[1]种花生、蔬菜、红薯、水稻，有经济林4200亩；海产以海蜇、大虾、龙虾为主，销往上海、天津、大连、北京等地。^[1]辖区内有六鳌小学和调德小学，在校学生1200人。^[1]

六鳌村于2019年9月被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之中。^[2]
