历史沿革[edit]

城中管理区设于1997年5月，归梅菉镇管；2000年起改称居委会。[1]

概况[edit]

城中社区是农业居委会，1997年才划入梅菉街道，面积略超1平方千米，人口约5600，设5个居民小组。[1] 辖区内有吴川力驰轮毂有限公司。[1]

2019年9月，该社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
