南山在1950年是行政村，次年改乡，1959年成大队；1983年重新称乡，1986年设村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，南山村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」。[1]
