外坡村是湛江市麻章区湖光镇的行政村，在镇西北约2公里，紧靠湖光岩，下设仕家、岭替、外坡东、外坡西4条自然村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1983年归旧县乡；1990年改称外坡村管理区；1999年改称外坡村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

  • 2023年11月，入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」。[1]
  • 2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把它定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，外坡村有村民186户、户籍人口886人，耕地合计2500多亩（水田1150亩，坡地1300亩），森林320亩。种植的观赏植物有发财树、鸭脚木和富贵竹，是主要收入来源；该条目称2008年人均纯收入6858元，比上年增长33.5%。（百度百科未注明户数、人口数的统计年份）[2]

2018年，外坡村被列为麻章区省级新农村连片示范工程的主体村，累计投入348万元修建环村道路、文化楼等设施，并规划建设生态农业和文化旅游示范村。[2]
