历史沿革[edit]

1958年设赤忏大队；1983年并入新圩乡，同乡的还有新联、柳畔、体村、金兴、料村；1987年分出，设赤忏村民委员会；1990年改称赤忏管理区；1999年恢复村民委员会之名，沿用至今。[1]

  • 2022年9月，认定为「2022年湛江市文明村」。[1]
  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
