祝美村是湛江市麻章区湖光镇的行政村，1952年即设乡，2015年分出司马村后沿用现有的辖区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年设祝美乡，1958年改称祝美大队。1983年，祝美、鹿渚、司马三个大队并为鹿渚乡；1987年重新分开，祝美单独设村民委员会；1990年改称祝美管理区；1999年恢复村民委员会之名，当时辖祝美、司马2条自然村。2015年农村基层组织重构，司马另立村民委员会，祝美村仍属祝美村民委员会。[1]

  • 2022年9月，认定为「2022年湛江市文明村」。[1]
  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
