南三（南三社区）是南三镇政府驻地所在的社区，2002年从田头村民委员会分出，成立居民委员会[1][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区沿用镇名，而镇名出自明洪武九年（1376年）吴川县南部设置的南一、南二、南三三个都，南三都即其一[1][2]。2002年，社区居民委员会从田头村民委员会析出成立，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，南三社区列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2022年11月，被确定为「2021年度全国综合减灾示范社区」[1]。
