上绵湖村在东成镇的西部，距镇政府约5公里，紧靠367省道，辖9个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村的建制始于1949年的上绵湖乡。1958年改叫大队；八十年代恢复为乡，1986年起设村民委员会，后来一度称管理区；1998年10月，恩平市人民政府批准恢复村民委员会之名，此后未再变动。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网转录的村委会介绍说，全村总人口1201人，总面积5794亩，耕地1491亩。[1]种植水稻、花生、甘蔗、红薯、香大蕉和柑橘橙，其中柑橘橙100多亩；另有一座600多亩的花木场，养猪户5家，合计存栏约5000头，成立了养猪协会。[1]辖区内有醒华小学。[1]
