太平村是广东省恩平市君堂镇西部的行政村，与圣堂镇相邻，有9条自然村。[1]

概况[edit]

全村设20个村民小组，640户、2300人，面积1.2万亩，耕地2300亩，种水稻为主，兼种大蕉、玉米和蔬菜。各自然村主村道已铺混凝土并通到325国道；村集体收入以出租为主，村内有货运和餐饮经营者。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年时叫太平生产大队；1984年改设乡；1986年设村民委员会；1989年又作管理区；1998年10月9日，恩平市人民政府批准正式定名为太平村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」；2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
