太平村是梅州市梅江区西阳镇所辖的一个行政村。村名定于土地改革之后，寓意太平盛世。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里形成聚落的时间较早，解放前称奖坑，属西阳乡，土地改革后改名太平村。1958年与另外三个村并为四平大队，归梅县西阳公社；1960年白宫另置公社，四平大队改隶白宫公社；1962年自四平大队分出，另设太平大队，仍属白宫公社。1983年改称太平乡，隶梅县市白宫区；1986年设村民委员会，1989年易名太平管理区，归梅县市白宫镇；1998年再改称太平村委会。2003年白宫镇并入西阳镇，该村随之划归西阳镇。[1]

  • 太平村以苦瓜为特色产业，2020年8月入选广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

澄岗岭的碧芬精庐，是卢耕甫的旧居，他曾任民国时期梅县的第一任县长。屋为二堂四横屋式，2015年2月5日列入梅州市第三批文物保护单位；2020年11月起，梅江区引入企业出资1000万元修缮，拟建民宿与卢耕甫博物馆。[2]
