海东社区是广东省江门市开平市长沙街道下辖的社区，2015年7月成立，位于街道西南面。[1]

概况[edit]

社区东接侨园社区宝源路，南到侨园路，西邻三江社区，北到开平大道，面积约2.5平方千米。官方介绍称，共9915户，常住人口近3.3万，户籍人口近5000。[1]

辖区有22个住宅小区和8幢开放式楼宇，分4个网格、6个居民小组，设小学1所、幼儿园4所、医院2间。[1]

街道投入约100万元升级社区党群服务中心，新址2020年1月启用，室内面积458平方米；社区获过广东省宜居社区、江门市绿色社区等称号。[1]
