辖区面积约0.95平方千米，共有常住居民7836户，人口约23050。辖区内的机关团体和学校有7个，如交警中队、公路局、开侨中学，物业小区5个，个体私营企业390多家。[1]

社区党委设5个党支部，有党员246人。党群服务中心面积447平方米，2019年10月29日迁入新址办公。[1]
