河东村是广东省江门市台山市海宴镇下辖的行政村，在海宴镇西南部，面积10平方千米，分为10个村民小组。镇政府2026年公布的户籍人口为3374人，常住人口1500人，村党委有党员99人。[1]

2025年，河东村发动海内外乡亲为家乡捐资，到当年10月下旬已筹得近300万元，用来修路、装灯和建设休闲场地。[2]

河东村靠近镇中心，村集体有一批店铺用于出租，近年通过加强宣传、吸引商家进驻、延长租期等办法减少空置，增加租金收入。种植业以水稻和富贵竹为主，村里引进专业合作社扩大种植规模，也借助承租店铺的商户帮农户销售农产品。[1] 村里建有463.1平方米的党群服务中心，兼作党员教育培训的场所。[1]

2025年6月起，村「两委」联络在外乡亲，组织捐资建设家乡，其中有乡亲个人捐出30万元。[2] 捐款的去向包括：用81.15万元新建和翻新新村环村路、玉成巷道路共800米，修补东边村入口一段390米的路面，并配装路灯；用26万元在新村文化大楼旁的池塘修石栏杆，装7支高路灯；用20万元把海宴中心小学门口的空地建成500平方米的「葵树」休闲公园。此外还翻新了蓢平村鱼塘的栏杆和两座饮水池，并在村东、村西路口各立起一座6米高的村标牌。[2]
