嶂下的「小延安」，又叫九连小延安。据百度百科，这里是和东地区的指挥中心和战略后方，因延续延安精神，并对解放和平东部、龙川北部有贡献，得此名。[2]景区以红色教育参观为主轴，生态乡村游为辅线。[2]镇内已建成的红色教育基地中，有和平县反腐倡廉传统教育基地。[1]
