2020年8月，坟典村入选首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（水稻）；2021年2月，被司法部、民政部公布为「第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」；2022年10月，被命名为「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」；2023年11月入选「广东‘百千万工程’首批典型县镇村」[1]。
