坟典村是明城镇下辖的行政村。博雅地名网的光明村页面称，2004年6月苗村、坟典、云勇三个村委会合并为光明村委会，坟典在其中为一条自然村[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，坟典村入选首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（水稻）；2021年2月，被司法部、民政部公布为「第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」；2022年10月，被命名为「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」；2023年11月入选「广东‘百千万工程’首批典型县镇村」[1]。
